Gears of War when the board game comeing out?
I know that the flight of fantasy is coming out with a board game, war gear and wondered when it comes, and whether it will be like Doom the board game.
No news is currently available in it. Recently announced as a release Q4 2009, but that is not happening. I asked a FF employee about it, but is forced to keep silent about it. My only advice is keep an eye on the forums about it BoardGameGeek, because you can be sure that if any information surfaces, there will arise. Play Online Games – Do They train our kids for war?
Since it was made available in the final games of the seventies and eighties to the masses that have caught the attention of millions of people who became addicted to their innovative interface and rapidly changing technology. The parents bought these games because it represents a good gift for children and adolescents who have always been fascinated with technology and entertainment related items. Children and adolescents on the other hand think them as a good way to kill free time.
The graphics first prominent Nintendo games were not very realistic as any death or war game was innocent enough, but as technology has evolved so much the graphics, consoles and variety. Today free games available through the Internet, and as independent and portable consoles, which has completely changed the rules of the kind of game to talk.
Today, we have children and adolescents all ages playing almost all the time, is why parents have grown concerned the types of games they play. The Internet has made available thousands of flash games without charge, so anyone can access them and spend hours browsing through them, some of the most visited categories are action and War Games, these are violent by nature and portray several "killings" as they move from level to level, the fact is that most players are not thinking about death they are doing in the game, but want to overcome all obstacles to the use of resources given to them, super mario like when they play Donkey Kong.
With international problems today many parents have made the idea that these games are intended to empower children to war, the crux of the matter is that if you are playing these online games have several other options such as board games, racing, cards, puzzles, memory, strategy, and so on, in other words not become fixed in one type of game because of the variety. On the other hand parents who buy expensive games to play on consoles independently at home may actually be feeding this mentality to their children because purchased games go to a different level, violence and graphic nature becomes too intense what is important to read the warnings and recommended age labels that each has.
