Why is my faucet solid brass, have points in it?
Some brass faucets have a lacquer or similar "plastic" that keep us shine. Sometimes they end up fail at certain points – and points are starting to corrode as a function of environment. Before bronze going 'green', start as dark brown. If you have a lacquer finish, it will be a bear to remove stains you will have to strip the paint first.
