Located in Guangdong province in southern China, Shenzhen is a sub-province, bordering the Pearl River Delta and Hong Kong in the south and Dongguan and Huizhou in the north. Due to its strategic location, Shenzhen offers great potential for economic growth and is considered the economic capital.

Sometimes, Shenzhen known as the backyard of Hong Kong, as it is within close proximity to Hong Kong and therefore allows a comfortable day trip from Shenzhen to Hong Kong, or vice versa. Shenzhen has a long history of more than 1500 years. Once a small typical fishing village called Baoan County, the destination given its current name in 1979, when Deng Xiaoping, the then Chairman of the Communist Party, gave the location of the appointment of the Special Economic Zone.

Today, Shenzhen is a mixture of traditional Chinese culture and modernity and enjoy all the advantages and conveniences of an international city with superb attractions, the state of the Arts & road transport system, high quality and advanced information system.

Administered by the Guangdong Provincial Government, Shenzhen is divided into six zones, such as, Luohu, Futian, Nanshan, Yantian, Bao'an and Longgang, including the first four are in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ.) Luohu is in the eastern part of the Special Economic Zone, and is considered the financial and commercial heart of the city.

Located in the heart of the Special economic, Futian serves as the target of the administration center, culture and commerce. Nanshan is considered as learning and Western logistics Shenzhen and is in the western part of the Special Economic Zone. Located east of the SEZ, Yantian is more famous as the tourism center.

Neighbors Dapeng Bay and Daya Bay, Longgang district is a popular export processing center of high technology and distribution logistics. When comes to Bao'an, which occupies an area of about 715 kilometers square and serves as the basis for modern agriculture. In addition, Shenzhen is also a provincial town under control of the Central Government.

When however, that the city has many historical attractions as other destinations in China, Shenzhen has created great amusement with to entertain and educate visitors travel here. For example, a visit to China Traditional Cultural Village would be a great way to get a clear idea about the different types of popular culture in the country.

Extensive in an area of about 500 acres, the China Folk Cultural Village consists of over 20 unique cottages, each one of them representing the distinctive architecture of the various ethnic groups. The Village also houses a number of interesting festivals, including the water of splashing Festival, the Lantern Festival – a traditional event of the Yi ethnic group, and a knife Bar Festival – celebrating the Lisu ethnic group. Also, people travel here can also take part in folk dances and handicrafts shop.

Situated in the Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Town, Splendid China is another major attraction at the destination. Also known as Shenzhen miniature Kingdom, Splendid China is one of the biggest parks miniature landscapes in the world, with replicas almost all benchmarks in the country, such as the Terracotta Warriors and Horses in Xian, the Great Wall, Forbidden City, the Old Summer Palace, Old Observatory Beijing, Potala Palace, the Dunhuang Mogao Caves, Mount Huangshan, the Li River, and more.

This miniature scenic park is administered by The China Travel Service, and is divided into two sections, as a Scenic Area of cash and an entire area. It is estimated that over 50,000 ceramic figures in the park.

Attractions in Shenzhen also include the window of the World, a replica of a park located in the western region of the city. The focus of the park is the replica extravagant in the world is wonderful and scenic sites like the Eiffel Tower, the Tower, the Colosseum, the Pyramids, Niagara Falls and the Grand Canyon, Manhattan, and Mahamuni pagoda in Rangoon. In short, when you leave the park after seeing these replicas, you feel like you have traveled the world in a day.

Other sights not to miss in the city include the Museum of Shenzhen, Shenzhen Grand Theater, The Xiangning Art Gallery, and Guan Shanyuan Art Gallery. In addition, Shenzhen is a haven for shoppers with options such as commercial city Louhu, Dongmen Laojia or the old street, and Huaqiang Bei Rd. By Above all, Shenzhen, provides tourists visiting the destination with quality accommodation and dining service.
