Popular culture is simply the facts, people, fashions and trends that capture the public imagination. It is also a term used to describe current cultural trends and cultural trends of the ongoing situation in the past they have achieved. Theories about the impact of this concept range from the belief that it is a substitute for the traditional family and religious values to the theory that pop culture is a common history that unites people. Much of the history of pop culture is linked to the popularity of television, which made its first appearance in the 1950s.
The term was first used in the 1950s, but not really gain popularity until much later, when the saturation of the media made it easier for people to detect and monitor trends.
