Does Whirlwind Warhammer 40,000 Space Marines have to have line of sight of fire? ?
If not, does that mean I can park behind mountains, buildings or other structures large and still hell rain on my opponents?
No, you do not need line of sight. The rules for firing "indirect" weapons can be found in the 40k rules (5th Edition). So, yes, you can park the gun on the deck and place the template to kill his opponents their heart's content.
