Ive just ordered a sealed tank of course thats 30 "by 12" by 18 "and planning messaging Snapshot in setting a trap under the drawers … but I am worried it will be too heavy in the chest! chest is 49 "WOT long do you think? suit the tank for angelfish, but I am concerned it will be heavy when filled and i dont have the space for a booth Does anyone know how I can solve many gallons of water in my tank? Does anyone know how I can solve many gallons of water in my tank? cogens ok Thanks guys I've worked all your help and everything comes to be at 195 pounds which is like a little over 14stone is how much my boyfriend weighs ………… so I figured thats where he'll be sitting for the next couple of hours …… Do you think that will test the weight? enough
I had the same problem with an entertainment center and a 55 gallon. Your tank is going to weigh appx. 165 lbs. If the chest of drawers is made with solid wood and in good condition, must be able to maintain weight. However, I advise to use the chest for the simple reason water changes and tank maintenance. While it may seem like a good accident, leaking overflows filter all happen from time to time. His chest is just water marks, waste etc. lime If there is a problem with the filter or an accident with discharges that will have a heck of a time cleaning the drawers and the chest area. The weight of the tank will be distributed along the length of 30 inches and thus will not be 165 pounds per square inch. Maybe cover the top of a plastic container (clear) to protect the wood.
