Choosing an army: WARHAMMER 40K?
I first became interested in the game after playing Warhammer 40k Dawn of War in my school's Tech Club. So I was interested in the board game. We mainly play Winter Assault, so I'm trying to choose between the armies available at that game. These are the Space Marines, Eldar, Chaos Space Marines, Orcs, and Imperial Guard. I'm leaning away from the normal Space Marines, as I have heard around the world begins with them. I was also considering the Tau, and Tyranids. I'm still choosing. Chaos Space Marines It is not good to begin with? However, only looking for some input. Thank you!
Tau are supposed to be good to start with, chaos marines are similar to the Marines so are still a good army boot. Marines but have just been updated with some new art as a cannon that can fire missiles across the floor to come to the enemy with their feet, a Landspeeder which can carry explorers, a Land Raider can carry 16 Marines while all the sergeants and sergeants team are veterans. more cheaply to enter it is to get the Assault on Black Reach box. It has a naval force and a force of ork on it plus a mini version of the new rulebook. The models are good, although not as detailed as those you buy in the normal crates, which are different poses. If you go halves with a friend, then his army will start even cheaper. You can always turn your space marines chaos marines or just sell them.
