Can anyone suggest a new board game 2 player?
We already have the traditional monopoly, Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit, backgammon, checkers and chess … but I'm looking for something new. Preferably something not too thematic (ie, castles and monsters). Can you help?

Backgammon is a board game for two players in which pieces are moved according to the roll of the dice. The winner is the first to remove all pieces from the board. Many variants have been developed worldwide, but most share the same common elements. It's a family member of table games. Although the game is basically a race, backgammon offers a significant scope for strategy. With each roll of the dice, the player must choose between many options to move the pieces and plan for possible counter his opponent's movements. Opportunities to increase the stakes of the game introduce more strategic intricacies. Players have developed a vocabulary for common tactics and occurrences.
Both numbers should play a roll if legally permisible.If just a number we can play, the player must play that number. When either number can be played, but not both, the highest number must be played, and if neither number can be played, the player loses his turn. To move a piece, a player to click on it with the mouse, drag it to the destination and then release the mouse. With a default view, own pieces move against the clock, while the opponent's checkers move clock wise. If a player has a checker on the bar and none of the points is open, you lose your turn. If some pieces on the bar can be set, but not all, the player must enter as many as he can, then miss the rest of their shift.
If the same number appears on two of the dice, the player has to move twice the usual number of moves. For example, if both dice to obtain the numbers 4 and 4, the player has 4 four legs to move.
