Abstract strategy games are the different types of games, many of the world's favorite games classified as. These are games that are considered to have "information perfect ", which means that whatever the other player is immediately known. It allows no misunderstanding due to lack of communication and ensures that each action will react. No part of these games are left to chance, which means that no part of the game are based on the effect of the dice or flipping a coin. Every action is elected by the player depending on the circumstances and the player is responsible for every action that takes place.
The games usually have two players or two teams and is considered a head to head challenge. Checkers, chess, Go, Mancala and are considered great examples of abstract strategy games.
Some of the best abstract strategy games work as a series of puzzles that one player represents to the other. In a game that has no elements of chance or hidden information, everything offside is the direct opposition that a player has to another. For this reason, some abstract strategy games are considered superior to others by the mere fact that more opportunities arise for the opposition than others.
Tic-Tac-Toe technically could be considered as an abstract strategy game, but its value is situated rather low so that no difficulty occurs during the game. Others, like chess, are considered some of the highest quality of abstract strategy games available. Chess, with a clearly defined set of rules, a number of pieces to handle, and a larger play space, allowing almost endless possibilities to play against another player.
Othello, Reversi also known by some, is a game that brings two forces, black and white, in a battle of wits and strategy to find a winner. Play in a 8 by 8 network, gamers play as black or white tiles and try to change the face of the tiles of your opponent by the strategic placement. The game begins with two sheets of each color is placed in the 4 central squares, each element is directly diagonal to the party.
The first player to move will take a sample of his own color and place on the board with a sample of the opposite color, capture the opponent's color between two pieces of symbolic color of the first player. When a colored game piece is trapped between two opposite colors, the player gets to flip the piece and become trapped in its own color. In so doing, begin to claim gambling chips themselves. When the second player has the chance to play, put one of his own pieces on the board, trapping one or more pieces of his opponent and thereby change the colors to own.
Play Play continues in this way, changing as many of the colors of the opponent as possible, until there are no possible moves on the board. When this happens, the game ends and tabs on the board are counted. The player with the most color chips on the board is declared the winner of the match. It is another example of a game abstract strategy. Nothing happens that is not immediately known and all that can react with ease.
