Analog Chess

What is best to get a digital or analog chess clock?
Analog Watches tend to be more robust and cheaper. They also have the advantage of not needing batteries (but be careful not overwind spring). Digital has the advantage of being more accurate and more flexible in setting rules for overtime. For digital my preferences lean toward the dual timer and Excalibur. I found the manufacturer of the timer Oza double in the NY / Denso Go Tournament about three years ago. Apart from the elegant walnut finish, emphasized the robustness of the components that was it. I can not testify from personal experience, but I liked his spiel. Nor have any Excalibur through rigorous beat, but I like the feel of the buttons that seem be quite solid. I also like the Excalibur because it is cheap and you can set the time Fischer. Although, curiously, you can get for about 10-20 dollars less for do not buy direct. In the interest of full disclosure, I should mention that I touch and go and have a little bias. To me, a digital clock should be able to play byo Japanese-yomi. For you, this is obviously not a problem. I know a lot of people (go players included) who swear by Chronos clocks, but I personally I do not like. They are ugly and programming seems to be a pain. Just my personal opinion.

The theory of decision making is correct in some ways, the problem of nature itself. The very word "game" has many meanings. It can refer any occupation in the free time, and any individual's social activity. It can mean a game of chess or checkers – or refer to actions in the field political, where the candidate goes into a "game" with their constituents and competitors. Can be used in the economy, when we talk of entering the market. Thus, the word "game" is applicable to any type of human activity, which is dictated by an interest and in which an individual's behavior is dictated by the reflection, cunning or even passing mood. We can say that playing is live, or rather to live means to play.
Therefore, it may seem futile search of the "game theory". Meanwhile, the reflections lead the individual attempts to summary data, which helps to focus on the essence of the problem. A Often one has to choose between the elements of a high probability, the results of which are known in advance. This is the case with "open" game, for example, a game of checkers or chess, where the results move each Chess Piece is unclear. But the player may not be aware of all data on the situation. This is the case of the letters, based on the assumption and insufficient information. So, here we must choose between many situations, the result is not completely known. In this case we create scenarios of the likely results. Choice in this situation, introduces us to a new roll of probabilities. This game moves a chance to another. By making assumptions as possible, we can calculate the probabilities of compounds from simpler ones according to the formula for the probabilities conditional:
Pb (A) = P (A & B) / P (B), where Рв (А) – the conditional probability of event A, provided that the event B has already occurred,
Р (В) – unconditional probability of that event B has occurred,
Р (А and В) – unconditional probability of the fact that both events A and B occur.
This formula can be represented as the formula for the probability of product:
Рb (А) Р (В) Р (А and В) Рa (В) Р (А).
Similarly, there is a rule of the sum of probabilities of type
P (AVB) P (A) + Р (В) – Р (А and В), where Р (А) and Р (В) means the unconditional probability of an event (and therefore B);
Р (А В V) – unconditional probability that the fact that it is an event or event B will occur;
Р (А and В) – probability unconditional of the fact that both events A and B occur.
Probability theory allows for a mathematical formula of the science of behavior, when know that the probabilities of various events, which define the course of the game. Therefore, the game theory attempts to use the odds or other concepts and building a model representing the most appropriate activity of the person. It would also allow to define activities that are most likely to lead to results wishful thinking. The basic difference between a game (or rather its model) and human activity is the fact that the game is limited by deadlines, while that human activity is not practically limited, for example, activity and economic assistance. This difference defines a great obstacle from the theory games, for example, in political economy. Therefore, when we speak of a "game" is more likely to mean a definite "set" This "game" which has its beginning and end. The game can be considered a limited program, where he noticed various wills or interests. These struggles may conflict, help each other, meet, develop more or less independently and have different means at its disposal. In a sense defined a play is a tragedy.
